Treehaus residents and guests came together for a week of fun and learning August 2-5 to celebrate our annual Coworking Week! It was a full week of fun, learning, networking, and getting to know friends new and old!
On Tuesday, August 2, we kicked things off with an Open Haus at Treehaus, a great chance for guests to get to know our space, meet members and enjoy some delicious cookies and lemonade.
Wednesday, August 3, Treehaus members took a well-deserved break at Yoga in the Park, followed by an afternoon of free coworking for our friends and guests in the community! After a productive afternoon, we headed to The Boathouse in Victoria Park for happy hour!
On Thursday, August 4, Rob Clement from the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre delivered an informative workshop on the Business Model Canvas. Members learned how to create a simple, but effective business model, either for a new idea or product, or to re-evaluate their current one. There was learning, networking and pizza!
Friday, August 5, was our final day of coworking week and Treehaus members enjoyed slushies and games, then headed to the Kitchener Clock Tower right out our back door for the Kitchener Blues Festival. The festival line-ups were fantastic and the food trucks were delish!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to Treehaus for coworking week, we hope you had as much fun as we did!
